More Hacks, :-(

There are about a hundred hack attempts on this page every day. But it got broken recently because one of my OTHER pages got hacked successfully, and the advice I received from the GoDaddy tech broke all of my sites at the same time. The next GoDaddy “tech” said it was my problem and he’d get into trouble if he escalated it. The next GoDaddy “tech” had no idea what I was talking about. The next GoDaddy “tech” said that if I signed up for a $49 support deal, I could get some help.

The fact that GoDaddy’s advice broke all my sites was never of interest to them.

This was the next to the last one to get restored. So far, I have restored every one of these sites on my own with no help from the company whose advice broke them.

Crossing my fingers that the last one can get restored soon. I may even call them back one more time to see if I can get ANY help. . . . . .

In the meantime, I tried BlueHost, but it turned out they could ONLY support WordPress sites, and most of my sites do not use WordPress.

So I wasted money there.

Hope you enjoy this page while it’s up. My intention is to keep it up indefinitely, but my web hosting provider doesn’t seem to think that’s a priority . . . .

Sorry, gripe hat off . . . .
